"You gays are SO EXTRA!"

Is it extra when we're doing your hair? Is it extra when we're styling you and teaching you how to slay? Is it EXTRA before or after you all steal our slang and use them in your everyday verbiage. Words like "shade", "suh" and "read" were all birthed in our community. Everyday I hear "you gays are so extra" and it needs to be addressed. It is our right to be able to express our individuality in any way that we see fit. We express it in our language, in our style and even in our attitude. We have the right to and we won't stop because you think it's EXTRA!
